The BDCC hosts day markets on the 1st Saturday of each month
and numerous events throughout the year. The hall
is available for hire and there is a health room that is attended by various
QLD health services (child care, women's health and Australian Hearing) professionals.

Howard Country Markets - Held on the first Saturday of every month except January when there is no market. Stall prices start at $20 for a 4 metre site. Bookings close very strictly at 2pm on the Thursday prior to the market and a copy of the stall holder's CERTIFICATE OF CURRENCY for public liability insurance must be supplied to us before we can accept a booking.

Our Story

The BDCC hosts day markets on the 1st Saturday of each month (except January when there is no markets). This is a huge market with around 1 kilometer of stalls and lots of variety. Stall prices start at $20 for a 4 metre site and bookings for stalls close very strictly at 2pm on the Thursday prior to the market. A copy of the stall holder’s CERTIFICATE OF CURRENCY for public liability insurance must be received by us before we can accept a booking.

We also host numerous events throughout the year. The hall is available for hire and there is a health room that is attended by various QLD health services (child care, women's health, Centacare and Australian Hearing) professionals.

We also have a Visitor Information Centre located in the building which not only supplies information to visitors but also locals. Devonshire Teas are available to purchase and there are many lovely items for sale.

The Community Centre is the Evacuation centre for Howard and Pacific Haven.
