CBA, Westpac, NAB and ANZ are all now forecasting a 0.25% rise on 29 September.

Nothing is locked in until 2:30pm Tuesday. But that is what a 0.25% move looks like on a 30 year loan sitting around 6.25%.

The average new owner occupier loan in Tasmania is $516,000. On that, it is about $84 a month, or $1,012 a year.
