We're recruiting volunteer board members!

We're seeking expressions of interest from passionate community members to join the Community Bank's voluntary board. If you live in Healesville, Yarra Glen, or the surrounding townships, we'd love to hear from you!

➡️ Who we're looking for:
People who are looking to contribute positively to the community, ideally with at least some experience in either finance, accounting, legal, or marketing – but most importantly, those who care about strengthening our local community.

➡️ What does the Board do?
Our Community Bank is a community-owned company that operates the Bendigo Bank branch in the Healesville Main Street. Income from the banking business is shared equally between Bendigo Bank and our community. As a community board made up of local volunteer leaders, we then distribute earnings to local shareholders and invest capital into local initiatives and sporting clubs. In other words, our profits are returned directly to the community that has generated them.

➡️ What's involved:
One board meeting per month (plus some preparation time)
Help shape decisions that matter to our region
Work alongside dedicated volunteers and professionals
Support financial inclusion and economic resilience locally

Today’s the day! We will be out collecting for the Good Friday Appeal from 9am.

Keep an eye out for Healesville SES, who will be collecting in the main street. Our trucks will be driving around town seeking donations for this great cause.
