As of 1st May 2026, our business name changes to NJD Bookkeeping & Advisory. This change reflects the way my business has naturally grown and the level of support I now provide to clients. There will be no change in the ownership of the business, my ABN, or the way my bookkeeping services are currently provided.

Well, the last 2 days have been absolute mammoth ones attending the ICB Summit 2025 in Melbourne.
Met with lots of fellow professional & passionate bookkeepers, listened to some wonderful speakers, attended the Luca Awards Dinner to celebrate outstanding people in this profession.
Thank you to Matthew, Rob, Amanda, Pauline, Carmel, Erica, Franjka, Sharon & other ICB Australia staff for putting a fabulous summit together.
Thank you to all the exhibitors as well & giving me the opportunity to learn about you.
I go home tired but filled with ideas & options to improve, not only NJD Bookkeeping but also help current & future clients/small businesses with to stay compliant, understand their figures which in turn helps their business grow.

Here are my top 3 tips for preparing your BAS:
1. All invoices and sales marked off in your accounting package
2. Check all tax codes are correct for your expenses
3.. Reconcile your bank account to your bank statement to ensure no missing transactions

McGrath Foundation

NJD Bookkeeping is proud to purchase 2 seats in the pink test, like we do every year.

Knowing that there is now not only support for women diagnosed with breast cancer, now that support is for people with all cancers. What a great achievement.

I hope that neither myself nor my husband or even my children are diagnosed with cancer but I do know that if any of us are, support is there.
