We are excited to announce a commitment of up to $240,000 to support Fraser Coast Hospice Association Inc.
The Fraser Coast Hospice has received a significant vote of confidence, with the Hervey Bay Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank committing up to $240,000 in support of the Hospice over the next two years.
The pledge is subject to the Hospice securing the remainder of the funding required to ensure ongoing operational viability and the ex*****on of a formal written agreement between the parties.
The Bendigo Bank Hervey Bay Branch Manager, Alex Kruger, said the decision reflected the wishes of local customers and the Bank's commitment to investing back into the community.
"As a community bank, we pride ourselves on stepping up when our community needs us most. The public has spoken passionately about the Fraser Coast Hospice, and we are listening," Mr Kruger said.
"We would like to extend a massive thank you to our customers, whose support makes everything we do possible. Alongside our Board of Directors and the dedicated team at the Fraser Coast Hospice, we are actively exploring every possibility to support this vital service during a challenging time."
