This is a rather long post to say goodbye!

After 25 years of assisting home loan borrowers and investors achieve their property goals, we have made the decision to retire and pursue other interests. This decision has not been taken lightly and our top priorities have been to ensure a seamless transition for our clients and to find an amazing broker to look after you and the loans we have organised for you.

We would therefore like to introduce Lee Rosenfeld from Innovative Home Loans. Lee is a dynamic and knowledgeable broker with a thriving business in Taren Point. Lee shares our values and our commitment to exceptional service. Much like Shire First Mortgages, Innovative Home Loans is a family- oriented business that places the utmost emphasis on customer satisfaction.

From 15 December 2023 when you call (02) 9531 7503 or email [email protected], Lee or a member of his dedicated team will be there to assist you. They possess the expertise to address any enquiries you may have regarding your loans or the transition process. Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved. For the most part, you should not experience any significant changes - except, of course, the absence of grey hair on Lee!

If this "reform" from Revenue NSW gets through there will be NO brokers left in this state as we will all have been bankrupted through the greedy cash grab of misinformed public servants. If you appreciate being able to work with a small business broker please support us.

This is a campaign calling for a a moratorium on the application of payroll tax on the mortgage and finance industry industry, and asking for Revenue NSW engage with industry to explain and provide clarity on the new interpretation of the legislation, and then set a firm future date for compliance.

At today's meeting the Reserve Bank increased the cash rate by 0.5%pa. We expect all banks to pass the rate increase on in full to variable rate home and investment loans. Even though rates are increasing they are still historically low. If you want to look at your options regarding repayments just give us a call. We are here to help and guide you.

The reserve Bank increased the cash rate by 0.25% today. We can expect all banks to pass this rate rise on in full. This will happen quite quickly. Variable rates are still much lower than the current fixed rates. Please don't hesitate to give our office a call to discuss your options if you are concerned about what you are reading in the media.

10,000 new places in the Federal Government's First Home Loan Deposit Scheme have been opened up today. To apply you must have done your 2020 tax return and received your Notice of Assessment back from the tax office. For more information or to see if you qualify give us a call!
