So privileged to be able to support such an important cause. If you are able to support the amazing team at Gisborne Food bank please do. It's tough out there for so many people and Food bank provide so much support to people in need. We have bins at Listen to you body Gisborne where you can leave any donations if the church hall is unmanned.

The Gisborne Foodbank is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 3pm so please drop in or give us a call on our mobile # 0492 850 520 if you or anyone you know needs assistance putting food on the table this week.

If you're out shopping over the next few days and would like to donate to the Gisborne Foodbank, we are short of the following items this week: milo, honey, peanut butter, vegemite, coffee, rice, pasta sauces, biscuits (sweet & savoury), 2-minute noodles, oil, sugar, tomato paste, tinned spaghetti, shampoo, tissues.

My beautiful clients Mike and Sam recently purchased this home in Macedon.

There are days when you just get an awesome feeling from your first chat about the people you are about to work with and I felt this with both Mike and Sam. They are truly beautiful people.

They have BIG plans for this home and you can follow along by following them on Instagram page

I am so grateful they chose me and I can't wait to see what they do with their beautiful home!

This young man Cooper Watts is the reason I love what I do.

Back in 2021 while I was enjoying a wine with his mum, he started asking me questions about buying his first house – he had just turned 19.
He was super keen to learn and get an idea of what he needed to do.
After we chatted and I learnt more about his work and savings, I told him “Do it now mate! Go and put a deposit on a block of land”

The next day he did exactly that! He secured a block in Gisborne that would title in 2022 and then chose a house. He paid the deposits from savings and committed to saving more.

He would call me if he wanted to spend money on things like his car, and accepted my response of “no way” each time! He didn’t get mad or upset, he just did exactly what I said.

He’s worked and saved, and worked and saved and today we secured his finance approval to build! His response to that call was priceless and I cried (I often do with first home buyers!)

To say I am proud is an understatement. He has been incredible the way he has listened to my advise (even if he didn’t always agree) and he has saved as much as possible and sometimes had to sacrificed things that normal 20 year old’s would be buying or doing.

Even a month ago he was discussing with me when he can buy his second, third and even fourth properties!

His passion, enthusiasm and determination is inspiring!

If amazing human’s like Cooper are our future then I think we are in pretty good hands!

Edit - I forgot to say he’s done all this as an apprentice as well 🙌🙌
