The Queensland Revenue Office removed card surcharges from 1 October.

QRO will continue accepting credit cards for state tax payments, confirming Visa and Mastercard remain available on payments from $10 to $50,000.

From 1 October 2026, a surcharge will no longer apply to card payments.
