You know that a credit report/score is a thing but what ACTUALLY is it? And does it REALLY matter?

A credit report basically outlines all your current and historical debts, as well as any times you’ve enquired about debt facilities e.g credit cards.

In short, if you don’t have an ‘adverse’ or ‘messy’ credit history, your credit score/report will usually not very strongly impact your loan options - but it’s always worth chatting to your broker to get an understanding of where you’re at.
