That’s what we explored last Sunday during an educational session for participants in the Self Development and Leadership Course for Ukrainian youth by CYM Melbourne.

Our team members Yuliia and Oksana talked about building healthy money habits for the future, how you can start saving today to make your future plans possible and turning what you learn into decisions that work in real life.

Great interest and engagement from the participants showed that the right support can help young people move forward with greater confidence. We’re glad to be part of that journey, sharing our experience and supporting those who are shaping the future.

Celebrating 5 years of the Sydney Baltic Markets with the Sidnejas Latviešu Biedrība/The Sydney Latvian Society🎉

It was such a lovely day bringing our Latvian, Ukrainian and broader Baltic communities together over delicious food, beautiful performances and great conversations.

It was a pleasure to join the Wayville Parish and celebrate Parish Feast Day with the Ukrainian Catholic Church Our Lady of Protection.

The day brought together parishioners, families, friends and community members to celebrate this special occasion and the strong community that has grown around the parish over the years.

Our team, Iryna Kvasniuk and Tania Jarema-Norton, enjoyed being part of the celebrations, joining the Divine Liturgy, Praznyk lunch with raffle, catching up with familiar faces and meeting members of the wider Adelaide community.

We’re proud to support the parish and the people who make it such an important part of the community, and we look forward to continuing that support in the years ahead.

Як це було: цього тижня в Канберрі ми зібралися разом із Посольство України в Австралії / Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, щоб відзначити 35 років Незалежності України 🇺🇦

Наш Голова Правління Andrew Pavuk та Директор Bohdan Wojewidka долучилися до події особисто.

Було особливо приємно зустріти стільки знайомих з українсько-австралійської спільноти та друзів України з австралійського уряду, а також привітати Senator Don Farrell, Peter Shmigel та Dr Michael Lawriwsky з отриманням Ордена «За заслуги» України. Сказане під час промов нагадує всім нам, що незалежність - це дієслово, а внесок кожної окремої людини має значення.

Дякуємо Посольству України в Австралії та Послу Vasyl Myroshnychenko за цей теплий вечір і відчуття солідарності.

Для нас спільнота - це про людей, підтримку та моменти, які ми розділяємо разом 💛💙

It was wonderful to be part of the Reception on the 35th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence on Wednesday in Canberra, hosted by the Посольство України в Австралії / Embassy of Ukraine in Australia

This special evening brought together so many people from the Ukrainian-Australian community, alongside friends and supporters of Ukraine from parliament and government, to recognise this important milestone and show their support.

Our Chair Andrew Pavuk and Director Bohdan Wojewidka joined the reception proudly representing Dnister Bank on the night.

Warm congratulations to Don Farrell and our community members Pete Shmigs and Dr Michael Lawriwsky on receiving Ukraine’s Order of Merit, one of the highest honours, recognising their contribution to Ukraine and its people.

For Dnister, being part of the community means looking after each other and sharing important moments together.

As a member-owned bank, we’re here to support our members and our community, and to be there when it matters.

Celebration is even more meaningful when we do it together 💛💙

Last week, we celebrated Ukrainian independence, spirit and culture, while honouring those we remember, with our communities across Australia.

We are grateful for the moments we shared together with Association of Ukrainians in Victoria at the Ukrainian Market Day, Ukrainians in Geelong - Українці в Джілонґу at the celebration lunch, and everyone who joined, representing our community and its strength. 🇺🇦
