Congratulations to Dnister Bank Director and former Board Chair, Bohdan Wojewidka, on being awarded the Saint Volodymyr the Great Medal by the Ukrainian World Congress - Свiтовий Конґрес Українців.

This is the highest honour awarded by the Ukrainian World Congress and recognises individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to Ukrainian community life in the diaspora and to the development of Ukraine.

Bohdan has made a significant and lasting contribution to the Ukrainian community in Australia through his leadership, service and involvement in many community organisations.

As a community-founded, member-owned bank, we are proud to support the people, organisations and initiatives that help our communities thrive and preserve their cultural heritage.

Today, we join the Latvian community in remembering the victims of the mass deportations of 14 June 1941 and honour the strength, resilience and enduring spirit of those affected.

Our thoughts are with all members of the Latvian community - Latvijas vēstniecība Austrālijā / Embassy of Latvia in Australia, Sidnejas Latviešu Biedrība/The Sydney Latvian Society, Latvian Federation of Australia and New Zealand, Estonian and Lithuanian communities, and all those whose families continue to carry the memory of this chapter in their history.

We are very proud to share that Cecilia Li, our Finance Manager, and Andryana De Francesco, our Business Enablement Lead, have been selected as COBA Emerging Leaders for 2026.

This is a wonderful recognition for both of them and very well deserved.

Ceci and Andryana make a real difference to Dnister in very different ways.

As Finance Manager, Ceci brings care, discipline and professionalism to her work, helping support the strong foundations Dnister needs to keep serving our members and community well.

As Business Enablement Lead, Andryana plays an important role in helping us improve the way we work across the Bank. She brings energy, initiative and a real willingness to step forward, simplify how we do things and improve the experience for our members and team.

Many Colours of Home shares the stories of Ukrainians who sought refuge in Victoria, highlighting their experiences and journeys as they rebuild life in a new place.

We are proud to support the launch of this meaningful project and the important conversations it will inspire.
