▫️Overall shift – reducing tax advantages on existing property and encouraging new housing supply

Well…. She’s done it again!

The RBA has delivered its third rate hike of 2026 this afternoon, taking the cash rate from 4.10% > 4.35% as inflation hangs around longer than we’d like!

So what does this mean for you?

-Repayments will start to creep up (again)
-Borrowing power will tighten so strategy is everything right now!
-Cost of living is still under pressure

At 23, we bought our first block of land - the one everyone (even some industry professionals) told us not to touch.
Not the best street, not the dream setup… but it was in the suburb we KNEW we always wanted!

So we backed ourselves.
We bought.
We built.
Then we doubled down and added a granny flat.

Two years later?
We sold with a $500K profit.

And yeah, working in Finance & Real Estate might have helped sharpen our eye but truthfully?
