What do Helen, David J, David T, Cori and Max all have in common?

Something very, very special. 23 years ago, these five - alongside a few other local legends - had the foresight to bring banking services back to town and create a new revenue stream for our region by forming our Community Bank.

Safe to say, it paid off. We’re so proud that our Bank has returned over $𝟰 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 back to Elmore, Lockington, Rochester and surrounds. ✨

So, what’s brought them back together again?

To celebrate this milestone, we’ve allocated $1,000 to lots of the people who helped make it happen - our original board directors, steering committee members, Branch Managers throughout our history and current staff - to pass on to a local initiative of their choice.

We’re proud to have supported the recent restoration works coordinated by the Elmore Progress Association, helping bring this piece of local history back to life. For generations, the bridge has been a recognisable part of the Elmore landscape, and seeing it restored and looking its best is something the whole community can celebrate 👏🏻

5 years ago today, the wonderful Lea Holmberg joined our Board of Directors - and wow, what a lucky day that was for our Community Bank. 💜

Lea wears many hats - mother, grandmother, nurse, business owner, yogi - and we’re incredibly grateful that Community Bank Director is one of them too.

Over the past five years, Lea has generously shared her time, knowledge and passion for our local community, helping guide our Community Bank and support the growth of our district.

Two Community Bank Birthdays in two days! And today we’re celebrating the incredible Jenny. 👏🏻 🎈

We were so excited to have Jenny join us almost 3 years ago - coming in with an impressive resume of banking & community involvement. An Elmore local passionate about her horses & all things community, we are so lucky to have her on our team.

Happy Birthday to the lovely Lily! 🍰 🎈

It’s hard to believe, but it’s over 6 years ago that Lily first started with us. She has achieved so much during that time - progressing from a trainee to a banking-expert, celebrating an engagement & becoming a Mother. We still haven’t convinced her to play for one of our local netball clubs yet though🫢
