June is a significant month for us as we celebrate 25 years of Community Banking and Connections. One of our much-loved community groups is the Men's Sheds, which does incredible work in our community. They are currently working on a special project for us, which will soon receive a bedazzling makeover! ✨️

In our most recent funding round, we provided sponsorship to 😮 twenty-seven sporting clubs, including football, netball, tennis, volleyball, bowls, soccer, little athletics, surf lifesaving, covering seniors and juniors. Sports and recreation play a vital role in our communities. The advantages of participating in sports reach beyond the individual players; they also benefit families, volunteers, and the community as a whole, fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating lasting friendships.

National Volunteers Week runs from May 18 to 24, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers. It's "Your Year to Volunteer." 🫶

This past weekend was dedicated to celebrating our volunteers at the Happy Volunteers Round at the footy. We had the pleasure of seeing our volunteers in action during the FNC Sponsors Days, held at Rosebud, Red Hill, and Dromana. Our people were out and about in Club Land!

In Rosebud, our team was out in full force, with Renae, Ness, Paul, Alannah, and Liz proudly representing CBSP. They had the opportunity to enjoy the recently renovated club rooms, which look outstanding. Over 140 people attended the event, relishing a delicious lunch, sharing lots of laughter, and celebrating a great win for the seniors. Congratulations on the new rooms and the opportunity to speak. Our crew had a fantastic day!

At Red Hill, Sarah represented us as a guest and enjoyed catering from 10 x by Tractor, paired with wine from Paringa Estate. It was a winning combination that led to a day filled with good company, exciting raffles, and entertaining stories from an esteemed criminal barrister, all while cheering on the Hillies, whose seniors triumphed over Tyabb. Thank you for hosting us and for the exceptional hospitality.

Karen and Nat attended the Sponsors event at Dromana, FNC, where they mingled and chatted with other sponsors while enjoying catering from David Snookes and his team. They also heard Club updates from Geoff, Paul, and the coaching staff. Karen had the opportunity to address the crowd, reiterating the importance of banking locally. We appreciate the raffle sponsors and were thrilled to take home a prize. Congratulations to Dromana on their seniors' victory as well!

Looking for Love 💕🐾

Meet Connor, a high-energy, handsome man looking for an active home to match his zest for life. Connor is just over four years old and loves to walk, chase, and show off those big, beautiful eyes! 💫

We met Connor at the Community Animal Shelter & Pound in Mornington, and he stole our hearts. The Shelter has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, making it a five-star facility! The primary purpose of the Shelter is to assist animals in need. Leesa and her team provide the care and support these animals deserve, ensuring they live happy, prosperous lives and find their forever homes.
