Would you believe it - we've got ANOTHER local hero in our network up for a Westfield Local Hero Award! This time, for Westfield Knox 🌟

Today we want to shine a light on Shy Nair from Life Ed Victoria - a Top 3 finalist in the 2026 Westfield Knox Local Hero Awards! If Shy wins, Life Ed will receive $20,000 to support their work.

Shy teaches primary school children across Melbourne's eastern suburbs how to make safe and healthy choices - covering everything from physical health to respectful relationships and online safety. She also mentors other facilitators and refines their education sessions to better support local families. Compassionate, dedicated and inspiring, she's making a genuine difference in young lives.

We're proud supporters of Life Ed Victoria, who've been giving kids the smarts to deal with the hard stuff since 1982 (you might remember Healthy Harold!). If Shy wins, the grant will help subsidise their preventative health and wellbeing education for schools in communities that need it most.

Lynne, from Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS), is a Top 3 finalist in the 2026 Westfield Doncaster Local Hero Awards - and she needs your vote! If Lynne wins, DVCS will receive $20,000 to support their work.

As DVCS's Emergency Relief Coordinator, Lynne is there for local families when they need it most - coordinating thousands of relief visits each year, mentoring young people, and helping people access food, transport and essential services. Selfless, dedicated and kind, she truly embodies giving back.

We're proud supporters of DVCS, who've helped local families in hardship since 1972. If Lynne wins, the grant will fund food and petrol vouchers, food parcels and essentials for people doing it tough.
