A great night out for the Lending 4U crew, with plenty of fun, family and a little friendly competition along the way!
Justin took on the 4km with his granddaughters, who were absolute superstars — running the whole way and still finding enough energy to sprint to the finish line! They crossed in an impressive 28 minutes, with Justin coming in just 5 seconds behind them.
Troy flew around the course in 19 minutes, while our friend Declan from Quick Select, North Sydney, joined us and smashed out the 4km in just 18 minutes! 🔥
And then there was Kellie… 😂 Her official time may have mysteriously disappeared, but we have witnesses! Justin, Declan and Troy can all confirm that Kellie was there; she started the race, AND she crossed the finish line! 🏁😉

It was such a fun event and exactly the kind of night we love — getting the team, family and friends together and supporting our local community.
Well done to everyone who ran, walked, cheered and helped make the Glow Run such a great night. 💙✨

I think it’s safe to say the granddaughters are a little more excited for tonight than I am 😂💙

They’re ready to go… meanwhile, my training has been fairly unsuccessful. A couple of burpees, a few lunges and plenty of good intentions probably aren’t going to get me very far. So if you’re at The Bluff tonight and see the Lending 4U team carrying me over the finish line, just keep walking… nothing to see here 😂. In all seriousness, it should be a great night, and it’s been fantastic seeing everyone get behind it.

Big shoutout to Brian Lyons 🙌and everyone who’s put so much time into getting tonight off the ground. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes with these things.

And a big thanks to the team at Rapid Supply for sorting our shirts out for us too.

See you tonight, Devonport! 8 pm at The Bluff 🌟
