We're proud to share a glimpse of our new premises in Burton, SA — a significant investment that strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality modular buildings and transportable solutions now across South Australia and beyond.

This facility provides the space, infrastructure, and capacity to support our continued growth while ensuring we maintain the quality, efficiency, and service our clients expect.

As demand for modular construction continues to grow, our Burton facility positions us to better serve projects across the mining, construction, government, education, and commercial sectors.

We're excited about what lies ahead and look forward to delivering even more innovative modular solutions from our new South Australian home.

Northern Transportables is pleased to announce the official opening of our Southern branch, located in Burton, South Australia.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in our continued growth, allowing us to better service clients across South Australia with the same high-quality modular building solutions we are known for.

Heading up our Adelaide operations is Regional Manager – Adelaide, Andrew Datson. Andrew and his team are on hand to assist with all your building requirements, from initial enquiry through to delivery and installation.

From the office crew to the workshop floor, from hi-vis to polos (and one very good four-legged team member down the front 🐶) — every single person in this photo plays a part in building the homes, dongas and all round legendary modular solutions that head out our doors every week.

Look at this team. Different cultures, different trades, different stories — all pulling in the same direction. We come from all over the world and all walks of life, and that's exactly what makes this place tick. The skill, the laughs, the grit, the care for each other and for the job — it's all here.

UPDATE — What an incredible day! We're so proud to share that together we raised $528 for Do It for Dolly Day, smashing our original goal by $328! 💙
Every dollar goes toward Dolly's Dream — supporting the fight against bullying and helping ensure no child, family, or community has to endure the heartbreak the Everett family did. Bullying has no place in our schools, our workplaces, or our communities, and today showed what can happen when people come together to stand up and say "enough."

Introducing the Northern Transportables Project Team 👷‍♂️🏗️

This team plays a key role in delivering projects across the Territory and beyond — from early planning through to coordination, delivery and client support.

With experience spanning modular construction, remote and regional projects, procurement, compliance, scheduling and project delivery, they work closely with clients, suppliers and site teams to keep projects moving efficiently and safely.

If you’ve worked with Northern Transportables before, chances are you’ve dealt with one or more of these legends along the way. They’re often the people behind the emails, phone calls, site coordination, problem solving and day-to-day communication that keeps projects progressing.

Proud to have a team with the capability, professionalism and experience that they bring to the business every day.

Introducing Andrew Datson — our new Regional Manager, Adelaide

We're thrilled to welcome Andrew to the Northern Transportables team. Here's a bit about the man taking the reins in South Australia.

On his background and what drew him to NT: "I've been working within the construction industry for over 25 years, including modular construction. I was drawn to Northern Transportables because I'm hopeful my experience and knowledge can help the company grow moving forward."

What he's bringing to Adelaide: A deep bench across modular building construction, management, design, estimating, compliance and construction methodology — on projects ranging from smaller builds right through to large-scale developments, including mining camps.

His priorities in the first 90 days: Driving efficiency through the design department, improving the documentation clients receive from us, and helping shape a clear estimating direction for the future. His overall goal is to help drive manufacturing and hire output within the region.

Outside of work: Andrew and his wife are passionate collectors of classic Australian chrome-bumper muscle cars — you'll often find them at car shows or 'Coffee and Chrome' days when they're not out for a nice dinner.

Big shoutout to the Litchfield Bears Rugby League Club 🐻👏

We recently received this swag bag from the club—and safe to say, they’ve absolutely outdone themselves this season.

At Northern Transportables, we support grassroots community sport because we believe in it. It builds strong communities, supports families, and gives kids and adults alike a place to grow, compete and connect. We don’t do it expecting anything in return.

But credit where it’s due—the Litchfield Bears Rugby League Club have gone above and beyond. The effort, the appreciation, and the pride they show in their supporters doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s partnerships like this that make backing local sport so worthwhile.
