Awesome effort by our team yesterday for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea 🫖

Together we raised $1,071 in support of the Cancer Council — well beyond our original goal. A fantastic result made possible by the generosity, baking skills and community spirit of our team 🧁

A big thank you to everyone who donated, contributed and helped organise the morning. Fundraisers like this remind us how much can be achieved when we come together for a good cause 🫶

Fuel tax credits can put real dollars back into your business, but only if you get the details right. From eligible fuels to claim methods, here’s what you need to know before lodging your BAS.
⛽️
From 1 April to 30 June 2026, the fuel tax credit rate for petrol and diesel is 20.6 cents per litre. This change is due to the 60.9% temporary reduction in fuel excise. If you claim fuel tax credits, this update may affect your next BAS.

We provide an overview of Budget measures, tax takeaways and external commentary for ag and regional business.

The conflict in the Middle East has severely disrupted global oil supplies and is contributing to higher inflation, slower growth and extreme economic uncertainty at home and abroad. '

At the same time, there are big structural changes unfolding in areas like energy and technology, and longstanding challenges when it comes to productivity, intergenerational equity and access to home ownership demanding attention.

New laws must pass before many measures take effect. Meantime, the Carrick Aland team are available to help you understand how the Budget and how any enacted measures might impact you.
