We’re on again! 🏆

Ezi Homeloans has been recognised as a Finalist for ‘New Brokerage of the Year’ by the Australian Mortgage Awards 2026. This puts us among the Top 10 new Mortgage Brokerages - Australia wide!

We actually found out a little while back, but as is often the case when running a business, you make plans to post these things and time just gets away from you. In saying that, we were busy celebrating Sarah’s nominations and didn’t want to take away from that.

The Australian Mortgage Awards are described as ‘the Oscars of Australia’s mortgage and finance industries’ and considered the benchmark for excellence across the nation - so to be in the mix is actually pretty amazing!

We head to Sydney on Friday for the event and regardless of the outcome, it’s been a pretty great awards season for Ezi Homeloans. We’re genuinely grateful for the recognition and equally appreciative of everyone that has helped us build Ezi Homeloans into a business worthy of even being considered for these types of things.

Sarah recently represented Ezi Homeloans at both The Adviser Australian Broking Awards and AFG (Australian Finance Group) Broker Awards as a Finalist for Best Loan Administrator! 🏆

While she didn’t get the win, being recognised amongst some of the best in the industry - particularly after less than two years in it - was an impressive achievement in itself.

I know Awards aren’t everyone’s thing and the finance & real estate industries certainly seem to have plenty! 😂 But you can’t just nominate yourself into becoming a Finalist. It still needs to be backed by results, evidence and a submission worthy of being selected. Sarah was nominated because she deserved the recognition.

More importantly though, as we build our brand I think there’s huge value in celebrating the wins within your business - big or small. Recognising people for the work they put in behind the scenes, getting the team involved and, where possible, bringing partners and families along for the ride to create a workplace people enjoy being part of.

While our clients will always be at the forefront of everything we do, we also want Ezi Homeloans to be a business where our team is given opportunities to grow and learn, while being recognised and celebrated for their achievements along the way. 💛

Not one, BUT TWO! 🏆🏆

Sarah has been recognised as a Finalist for Best Loan Administrator (Loan Administrator of the Year) by both the AFG Broker Awards and The Adviser Australian Broking Awards for 2026!

A pretty amazing achievement considering she was completely new to the industry just 18 months ago!

Sarah has quickly become the glue that keeps everything on track. Her attention to detail and friendly approach with clients, banks, conveyancers and our team allows Leon and I (Joshua) to focus on what we do best — telling our clients how great we are at being Mortgage Brokers! 😂

Since joining the business she has worked equally as hard as I have building Ezi Homeloans with many long days and late nights — fortunately we’re doing it together, or we might never see each other! 😅

Importantly though, she still finds the balance required to be an amazing wife and Mum! Whether she wins or not, the nominations are well deserved and we’re very proud. Ezi Homeloans couldn’t do what we do without her. 💛

Grand Final winners in the new jerseys last season and promoted a division, then only narrowly defeated in this season’s Grand Final qualifier. 🏀

No doubt the boys were inspired by our near-perfect home loan approval % and ability to ‘assist’ with a quality application. 😉

200 home loans settled. One HUGE thank you! 💛

This week Ezi Homeloans settled our 200th home loan since launching nearly 2 years ago.

While we’re Brisbane-based, we’ve had the privilege of helping people Australia wide. This has given us the opportunity to learn more about interstate policies, markets, incentives and processes across the Country - helping us better support clients wherever they call home.
.except South Australia. Randomly none in SA.
