Many people ask if their mortgage repayments will decrease having an offset account attached to their loan.
Whilst your mortgage repayments won't decrease and will remain the same you will actually end up paying less interest so you will save money in the long run.
The amount sitting in your offset account actually 'offsets' the loan amount meaning the more money you have sitting in your offset account the less interest you will be paying against your loan.
