We recently spent a couple of great days on the Gold Coast at the 2026 Steadfast Group Convention, themed Go Beyond.

As expected, AI was a major focus this year, with some really valuable insights shared on how it’s shaping the future of our industry.

One of the standout moments was hearing Jelena Dokic speak so openly about resilience and overcoming adversity — a genuinely powerful and inspiring session.

Always a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and peers across the industry.

🏠 We’re proud to be members of the Owners Corporation Network (OCN)!

OCN is Australia’s leading independent network dedicated to owners of strata title properties — providing education, advocacy, and support for those who live in or own these communities.

💡 We believe strongly in OCN’s mission to represent, educate and protect the rights of strata owners — and we’re proud to stand together as part of this network

📢 Strata Insurance Market Update – September 2025

The market is shifting:

✅ Premiums are stabilising for low-risk buildings (some down 5–7.5%)
⚠️ But problem properties still face hikes of 15–30%+
🚫 Tobacconist and Tattoo Parlours occupancy is now flagged as high-risk
🌪️ Cyclone-prone areas can access premium discounts with proper mitigation
💼 And in NSW, a major reform is scrapping agent commissions to boost transparency

At Evolution Strata Insurance, we’re ahead of the curve—we’ve always operated with ZERO commissions, ensuring you get fair pricing and transparent service.
