Our Bass Coast office, led by Partner Carlia Morgan, is growing from strength to strength, and we have this incredible team to thank for it. Throughout the day, we’ll be introducing our new Bass Coast team.

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗡

Megan lives in Phillip Island with her partner and her much-loved dog Piper, while slowly renovating their beach shack into something uniquely their own. Originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada, she brings a grounded, adventurous spirit and a strong love of the outdoors.

Before joining Highview, Megan worked as a yoga facilitator, running classes, trainings and retreats. She is currently completing her Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping and is excited to continue building her skills and growing her career in the accounting industry.

When she’s not working, you’ll usually find Megan outdoors – whether that’s yoga, hiking, camping, paddling, swimming or snowboarding, or enjoying slower moments baking, reading, or spending time by the coast with her partner and Piper.

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟

Rachel has recently made the move to Wonthaggi with her family and two dogs, Patchie and Lucky, and is enjoying settling into life on the Bass Coast. The change of pace has been a welcome one as she settles into her new home and starts setting up her dedicated craft space.

Warm-hearted, creative and grounded, Rachel brings a calm and caring energy to the team, along with experience across health, wellness and accounting practice. Before joining Highview, she worked as a dental nurse, studied remedial massage, and later moved into the accounting industry.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Rachel creating something – from crochet and jewellery making to painting, journaling and craft projects with her son. She enjoys visiting local markets, spending time at the beach, picking up fresh produce or craft inspiration, and winding down at home with family, dogs, and a good board game or movie.

Our Bass Coast office, led by Partner Carlia Morgan, is growing from strength to strength, and we have this incredible team to thank for it. Throughout the day, we’ll be introducing our new Bass Coast team.

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗢

Starting his accounting career in the regional hub of Warragul, Roo discovered a passion for helping clients understand their numbers, reach their business goals, and take the stress out of compliance. Wanting broader real-world experience, he later moved into roles across the SaaS sector and sustainable modular construction, gaining firsthand insight into the operational and administrative challenges businesses face. These experiences strengthened his practical, solutions-focused approach and his passion for helping business owners and administrators make better use of their financial information.

Now nearing completion of his Chartered Accounting qualification, Roo has returned to public practice to bring that commercial experience back to clients across the region. He enjoys working with businesses of all kinds, with a particular interest in construction, subcontracting, and agriculture, valuing the opportunity to build strong relationships and tailor advice to each client’s goals.

Having lived across Gippsland for more than 12 years (with a stint in Western Australia), Roo now calls Bass Coast home, living in Wonthaggi with his fiancée and their dog Venus. He enjoys gardening and thrifting for unique pieces for his cottage. Travel has also played a big part in his life, from exploring Southeast Asia to wandering European cities. The Central Americas and South Pacific Islands are next on the list, as he’s always searching for the next adventure to add to his fridge magnet collection.

Our Bass Coast office, led by Partner Carlia Morgan, is growing from strength to strength, and we have this incredible team to thank for it. Throughout the day, we’ll be introducing our new Bass Coast team. Let’s start with Ross.

𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦

Ross is based in Wonthaggi, where life revolves around his daughter Octavia and their dog Zarah. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him out for a coffee-fuelled walk, catching up with friends and family, or relaxing with anime, gaming, or a bit of sport on the side.

Ross brings experience from his time at South Gippsland Shire, along with a background in accounting and running his own business, giving him a well-rounded understanding of different industries and ways of working.

Described by friends as funny, charismatic, and occasionally “annoying” (his words, not ours!), Ross brings a relaxed, down-to-earth energy to the team. He’s fueled by a strong soy flat white (extra hot, one sugar) and enjoys winding down with the Shxts & Gigs podcast or a familiar Supernatural re-run.
