📣 Important Update for NDIS Participants

From 19 May 2025, there’s a big change in how NDIS funding is released. Instead of receiving your full budget upfront, funds will now be released in instalments called funding periods – usually every 3 months.

💡 What this means for you:
✔️ Easier budgeting throughout your plan
✔️ Unused funds can carry over (within the same plan)
❗ You won’t be able to spend beyond what’s released for that period – so planning ahead is key!

This change applies to:
➡️ All new NDIS participants from 19 May 2025
➡️ Existing participants at their next plan reassessment

IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING (OTHER) FUNDED THERAPIES

Dear Participants and Providers,

This is a notice that all previously reasonable and necessary (other) therapies are back to being funded by the NDIS and participants and their families can resume usual services.

With recent changes made to the NDIA price guide, we attempted to communicate this change with all parties involoved as soon as possible to give all providers and particpants as much time as possible to make arrangements.

However, it appears that the NDIA have reversed their decision made late last week and the "other therapy" line item is now reinstated back into the support catalogue.
