Payday Super is coming July 1st 2026

What this means:

▶ Super must be paid on payday, alongside salary and wages.

▶ Contributions must be received by the employee’s super fund within 7 business days, unless an exception applies.

▶ The Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) is closing.

▶ ATO penalties may apply for late or missed payments.

Well, it's been a minute... Our socials might've gone quiet, but we definitely haven't!

For those who don't know us (or need a refresher) — we're Joint Business Solutions, or JBS for short. We're a bookkeeping and consultancy team based out of Cowes on Phillip Island.

We started way back in 2003, built by supermarket owners who got tired of drowning in paperwork instead of actually running their businesses. Over 20 years later, we're still here — just bigger, busier, and helping more businesses than ever.

These days we look after bookkeeping, payroll, BAS, reporting, and back-office support for independent supermarkets and growing businesses of all kinds.

We've been heads down doing what we do best, but we figured it was time to pop back up and say g'day. We'll be sharing a bit more around here going forward — so stick around!
