Today, on National Sorry Day, we acknowledge the strength and resilience of Stolen Generations survivors and their families.

We reflect on the pain and injustice caused by the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, communities and Country and recognise the ongoing impacts that continue today.

National Sorry Day is not only a time for reflection, but also a reminder that reconciliation requires action, truth-telling and continued commitment.
