Congratulations to Julian and Dianne Benson from Apostle Whey Cheese on taking home the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Victorian Small Business Awards! 🧀

Over 50 years in dairy farming and 20 years as cheesemakers, this recognition is so well deserved. It's a wonderful reminder of what dedication, passion and a love for your craft can achieve.

We love seeing local businesses celebrated on a big stage. This is exactly the kind of story that makes our region so special.

Now this was NOT on our radar!

The Victorian Small Business Awards were held in Melbourne last week and featured four ministerial awards.

You wouldn't believe it but the Lifetime Achievement Award, which celebrates long‑standing contribution and enduring business success, went to 🥁🥁🥁 Julian and Dianne Benson!

Despite being dairy farmers for over 50 years, including the past 20 as cheesemakers, we still didn't see this coming.

Congratulations to the other award winners and here's to all of the small business owners out there getting up every morning, creating jobs and making our communities better places to live.
