🏇🌹 MELBOURNE CUP DAY… BUT NOT ALL THE NEWS WAS WORTH CELEBRATING! 🌹🏇

While we were busy picking our winners and enjoying the race that stops the nation, the RBA delivered a result that certainly wasn't a winner for mortgage holders… 😔

📈 The RBA has announced another 0.25% interest rate increase, taking the official cash rate to 4.85%.

Although it was the favourite, unfortunately, it was not the outcome we were hoping for, particularly with household budgets already feeling the pressure.

🏇 My tip for today? A roughie in the Melbourne Cup might be worth a shot… but when it comes to your home loan, it's worth knowing exactly what you're backing! 😉🏡 Give me a call or send me a message and let's see if there's a better deal out there. ❤️❤️

One week to go! 💗

In just 7 days, I’ll be taking part in the Live Like Her Challenge, sleeping in my car for one night to raise awareness and funds for women experiencing homelessness.

💜 I'm taking on the Live Like Her Challenge and will be spending a night sleeping in my car. 💜

If you don't know me, I'm not a princess. 👸❌ I don't need to wear makeup every day, and I'm perfectly happy to wee behind a tree! 🌳😂 But one thing I do love is a comfortable bed... so sleeping rough for the night is definitely going to challenge me.

However, I thought... if thousands of women, many older than me, have no choice but to sleep this way every night, I can certainly do it for one night to help raise funds and awareness. 💜

The RBA has decided to keep the official cash rate on hold at 4.35%.

But that doesn’t mean lenders have stopped competing for your business! 🏦💰
