Axiom needs to grow!

We are currently looking for two new amazing humans to join our team!

Receptionist/Administration Officer based in our Chinchilla branch. This is a full-time role.

Broker Assistant with a minimum of two years’ experience and a Tier 2, based in the preferred branch of the successful candidate. This is a full-time role.

We are a team that works hard, but still likes to prioritise having a laugh and some fun.

It's that time of year.

They are talking about the possibility of Supercells this afternoon.

Please have a quick check around your yard. Remember to secure trampolines, sheets of iron and timber. How heavy is your outdoor setting? Can you push it back against a wall? How long have you been waiting to trim up your trees?

Did you know that tree limbs that fall during a storm from your neighbour's trees and cause damage to your property are your responsibility? Your neighbour can't be held at fault. So, it is worthwhile having a chat about joining forces and cutting the overhanging branches first.

Let's hope we just get more beautiful rain without any damaging storms.

Providing Proof of Ownership and Valuation.

At Axiom, our claims team will try and help you claim the total amount of your loss. To help us help you, grab your phone over the weekend and walk around your house taking videos or photos. Open the cupboards as you walk through and snap away. Make a space at the bottom of your filing cabinet for your warranty documents or instruction manuals. Get out your jewellery, take a few photos, or track down your valuations/receipts and put them in a file. Step outside and take a photo of the tools in your shed, the toolboxes on your utes.

Theft is becoming the number one crime in our communities.

Every insurer has its own prerequisites for claims. If you want your theft, accidental or total loss claim covered, this is the first step to a successful outcome.

The below wording is part of one insurer's policy wording:

So that Your claim can be assessed quickly, You should keep the following:
• receipts or other confirmation of purchase and ownership;
• valuations; and
• Photos of items in the home.
We may ask You for these if You make a claim. You must be able to prove to Us that You have suffered a loss that
is covered by this Policy before We will pay Your claim for it.

In response to broker feedback, from March 2023, CGU is extending Pay Excess Online capability for broker’s clients to include the following products:

Once the excess is paid using the online tool, a receipt will be emailed to the main contact on the claim, sometimes the broker.
