🧡 What’s On This Week | Water (ماء – Maa’) 💧

This week, our children will continue exploring the beautiful blessings Allah (SWT) has provided for us, with a focus on water and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

💧 Living the Sunnah: We’ll learn the etiquettes of drinking water, including sitting down, drinking with the right hand, saying Bismillah before and Alhamdulillah after, and drinking in three sips.

🌿 Caring for Allah’s creation: We’ll explore why water is precious and why we should avoid wasting it, developing gratitude for the blessings we use every day.

🌟 Arabic letter of the week: Noon (ن), as in Najma (نجمة), meaning star.

📚 A gentle reminder for families: Please bring your child’s Iqra book and continue practising their assigned work at home. If your child is unwell, please keep them home to rest and recover.

🧡 Week in Review | Air (هواء – Hawa)

A little look back at last week’s learning 🌿

Our children explored the blessing of air, something we cannot see but rely on every moment of our lives. We reflected on how Allah (SWT) provides us with clean air to keep our bodies healthy, and how we can show gratitude for the blessings we sometimes take for granted.

Continuing our lessons on the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), we also learnt about eating what is good and pure, and the importance of moderation, leaving room for food, drink and air.

Our Arabic letter of the week was Meem (م), as in Masjid (مسجد) 🕌

🏡 Continue the conversation at home:
As your child shares their craft, ask: “We learnt that air is a blessing from Allah that we need every day. What are some other blessings Allah has given us that we cannot see?”

A gentle reminder that even the simplest blessings are worthy of our gratitude. Alhamdulillah. 🧡

🧡 Week in Review | Term 4, Week 1

We’re back for Term 4! 🌿

Our Preschool and Foundations students reconnected after the school holidays, sharing memories and exploring our first Simple Sunnah: giving and returning the greeting of Assalamu alaykum.

Our Playgroups were a welcome break from routine, bringing mums together while little ones enjoyed a mix of free play and guided activities. At Adeela’s Playgroup in our new Deer Park centre, families explored healthy eating through a story about peas and carrots, colourful vegetable collages and fresh veggie snacks. 🥕🫛

Meanwhile, Jeanine’s Playgroup came alive with familiar faces and new families reconnecting, as little hands got creative making their own crowns. 👑

Alhamdulillah for another beautiful week of learning, connection and community! 🧡

🧡 What’s on the curriculum this term?

Term 4 at Ummah Jameelah is all about Simple Sunnahs 🌿

For our Preschool (3–5 years) and Foundations (5–8 years) students, each week we’ll explore a beloved Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, while continuing to build our Arabic language understanding and memorisation.

The final two weeks of term will be dedicated to revision, giving our students the opportunity to revisit, strengthen and solidify the beautiful lessons they’ve learnt throughout the year, inshaAllah.

EOIs for Term 1, 2027 are now open!

If your preschooler is graduating this year, be sure to let us know if they’ll be returning to continue their journey with us through our Foundations program.

Ummah Jameelah programs complement traditional preschool, kindergarten and primary school, helping children deepen their understanding of how to love and live their Islam, even when they already attend an Islamic program.

🌸 Week in Review | Our final week of Term 3! 🧡

We wrapped up Term 3 with a beautiful week of learning, friendship and community.

📖 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Our children spent the week learning about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and reflecting on his beautiful character, including his honesty, kindness and trustworthiness.

🍋 Letter of the Week: ل
Our little learners explored ل for Lemon, bringing our Arabic letter learning to life through play and hands-on activities.

🤍 Bring a Sister to Playgroup
Our playgroups were extra special this week as families were invited to Bring a Sister and share the joy of our community with someone new.

As we head into the spring break, we wish all our Ummah Jameelah families a warm and restful break. 🌷

A little reminder that Term 4 enrolment fees are now due, and limited places remain. We will be opening remaining places to new families and new faces this week, inshaAllah.
