💸 A Three Grand Scam 💸

💸 A customer recently came into the Community Bank Capel to make a $3,000 cash withdrawal. During a friendly conversation, we noted a few red flags in the story behind the transaction.

💸 Rather than simply processing the withdrawal, we took the time to ask questions, look into the company involved online and explained to the customer why we believed she could be the target of a scam.

💸 She listened to our concerns and avoided handing over $3,000 to fraudsters that afternoon.

💸 Today, she returned to the branch to thank our team — and confirmed that our concerns were right. It was a scam.
