The Home Guarantee Scheme – For First Home Buyers

From 1 October 2025, the Home Guarantee Scheme will expand with:

🌳 Unlimited places
🌳 Higher property price caps
🌳 No income cap
🌳 Minimum 5% deposit with no LMI

This means more Australians can buy their first home sooner — with a deposit as low as 5% and no Lenders Mortgage Insurance — delivering on the Government’s commitment to support home ownership.

Property Price Caps:

• Australian Capital Territory: $1,000,000
• Queanbeyan and surrounds: $800,000
