18 months after expressing their concern for house prices, the Reserve Bank of Australia speaks of the buoyant market. Their update to their Financial Stability Review will follow in October. Their focus will be more about monitoring high-risk lending, rather than using interest rates as a tool to influence the market. Some very interesting charts...

And not least of all, thank you hospitality staff - ladies, you are the best!

Well done to our own Daniel Brooker on taking out the 2020 Finance Select Macquarie Links Cup today.

After a round of even par 72 it took a sudden death playoff featuring Zinyo Garcia & Robbie Minns.

Daniel stayed clutch and got the job done on the tough 9th hole playing well over its yardage today.

Well done champion!!

Lenders are enticing you with low fixed rates. However, fixed might not suit your requirements & objectives, unless the lender;

1. waives any fixed rate break costs,
2. allows extra payments,
3. enables redraw in a fixed rate,
4. guarantees the current variable rate reductions on maturity, and
5. very importantly, allow 100% offset on fixed rates (allowable on variable)

Otherwise, low rate variable may suit you better and not lock you in.
