I started researching about bees and found them to be extremely intriguing. I have been a hobby beekeeper for 5 years and I have set up a few hives on the family property where we have resided for over 45 years. My family has had a long connection with Samford Valley with my grandfather having dairy farms from the 1940’s. I have bees now in a couple of locations throughout the valley which adds to

the colour and flavours of the honey. You will note significant colour and taste changes throughout the year as the flora changes with the seasons. My three boys and my niece share my love for the bees and now have designated painted hives that they work, including collecting the honey frames, processing the honey and bottling for your enjoyment. They also enjoy making bees wax candles - this is a hobby in progress but the smell of the candle wax is amazing. Come and collect a jar, thee is an honesty box beside the honey but don’t worry if you haven’t got cash, message me for bank details. Tubs - $20

Unfortunately, due to the rising costs of production, packaging, and maintaining our beekeeping operation, there needs to be an increase in the price of our raw honey coming in to the new financial year.

This decision has not been made lightly, but it is necessary to ensure we can continue providing the high-quality, natural honey that you have come to enjoy and trust.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding. Thank you for supporting local beekeeping and choosing our raw honey.

We are moving out of Tarnook drive and back to the property at camp mountain
This means our honesty box at Tarnook drive will be ceasing as of mid May.
The good news is we still have our delicious fresh honey available in camp mountain, and Ashgrove as well as a few retail outlets in Samford.
We are also happy to deliver to the Ferny hills and Ferny grove area, as we go through most days. Just message us for a delivery to your letterbox. 📮
