Elders Insurance is one of Australia’s largest regional and rural insurance services and operates an agency network distributing general insurance products to regional and rural clients.

Elders Insurance Camden is locally owned and operated and currently have an opportunity for a Part Time OR Full Time Insurance Sales Support Officer in our Camden office.

This position offers you a development opportunity with potential for career progression with a leading Elders Insurance franchise and a competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The role
We are looking for a new SALES SUPPORT OFFICER to add value to our already successful team. You will be fully trained and mentored in company practices. Duties will include:
• processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals
• office administration, telephone enquiries and credit control
• Opportunities exist to be trained in other areas of the business including claims and sales.

You
To be successful in this role you must be able to:
• display a knowledge of general insurance (preferred but not required)
• display a high level of computer literacy and accuracy with data input
• have good communication skill and organisational skills
• obtain satisfactory police and ASIC clearances
• obtain or have already Tier 1 or Tier 2 accreditation in Australian Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA) Insurance

You will also have the following qualities:
• customer service and the ability to manage your own time well and to targets
• teamwork and co-operation
• concern for quality, accuracy and efficiency
• flexibility, and a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• must be reliable
• Excellent attention to detail

If you are hitting the road this Easter break be sure to stay vigilant. Check out our top tips for drivers this Easter break:

🚘 Drop your speed and stay alert in unfamiliar or wildlife populated areas.
🌅Try and avoid travelling at dawn and dusk.
📌 Make sure your insurance details are up to date.
🔔If you come across a kangaroo, brake to avoid a collision – don’t swerve.
💥 If you’re in an accident, prioritise safety. Call 000 if needed, then contact your insurer.
📞If you hit a kangaroo, contact a wildlife rescue organisation or the local police.
✍🏻 If you don’t already have comprehensive car insurance cover, look into this before you travel.

The NSW SES advises Camden residents they can return safely to their properties, with the exception of Poplar Tourist Park, Elderslie which is still experiencing the impact of flooding.

Hi Everyone,

The team at Elders Insurance Camden taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids this September and walking for kids facing cancer.

Every dollar raised will support Camp Quality's services and programs to help children who are dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love.

It's an incredible cause that really means a lot to us.
