It is with great sadness that we farewell a much-loved and respected member of the Gladstone community, Bobby Pailthorpe.

Bobby was the true definition of a volunteer, giving so generously of his time, energy and heart to support the Gladstone community. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and the lasting contribution he made to our community.

The team at Community Bank Calliope and Gladstone extends our deepest condolences to Bobby’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.

Thank you, Bobby, for all that you did for Gladstone and the people who call it home. You will be greatly missed.

Meet Craig, one of our Home Loan Specialists here at Community Bank Calliope and Gladstone.

For Craig, helping people achieve their home ownership goals is about more than just finding a home loan. He loves taking the stress out of the process and being there for those exciting moments, especially when a client gets the keys to their new home.

Craig’s advice for first home buyers and those considering refinancing?

⛳️ Golf, Good Times & a Little Help from Piggy 🐷

Some of our Community Bank Calliope and Gladstone team swapped the office for the golf course last Friday for the Sealink Golf Day. And what a brilliant day it was!

There was plenty of sunshine, plenty of laughs, a bit of friendly competition and a few interesting golf shots along the way!

A big shoutout to Sealink and the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce & Industry for putting together such a great day, with proceeds going towards Strong Communities – Calliope Community Hub and GCCI. 💙

And of course, Piggy couldn’t miss out! Making a special appearance and only too happy to get amongst the action.

Recently, our Board members Rick Hansen and Amanda Gibbs visited the Calliope Community Hub to see this exciting project coming to life.

Proudly supported by Community Bank Calliope & Gladstone, the refurbishment is transforming the former RSL Hall into a welcoming, accessible and flexible community space where people can gather, connect and thrive. Once complete, the Hub will provide opportunities for families, young people, veterans, community groups and local organisations to come together in a modern space designed to meet the growing needs of our region.
