Old Mate Financial Services is looking for an experienced Tier 1 Insurance Broker who enjoys building long-term relationships, growing a portfolio and creating new business opportunities.

You'll inherit an established portfolio of rural, commercial and domestic clients, while also taking responsibility for substantial portfolio growth through new business development. This means building on your own existing contacts, proactively canvassing for new opportunities, and converting new business enquiries provided to you.

What you'll be doing:
🤝Manage an established portfolio of rural, commercial and domestic insurance clients
🤝Prepare quotations, renewals and policy documentation
🤝Provide expert insurance advice tailored to clients' needs
🤝Build strong relationships with clients and insurers
🤝Assist clients through the claims process
🤝Actively generate and convert new business opportunities
🤝Grow your portfolio through your own network, proactive canvassing and new business enquiries
🤝Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client insurance programs
🤝Promote our finance solutions through quality referrals

What we're looking for:
🙌Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (Diploma highly regarded)
🙌Experience in insurance broking, underwriting or account management
🙌Proven ability to generate and win new business
🙌Rural insurance experience highly regarded, particularly farm, crop and livestock insurance
🙌Strong existing networks or the confidence to proactively develop new client relationships
🙌Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
🙌Ability to work independently in a remote environment
🙌Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
🙌Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
🙌Current Australian working rights

This young couple Tayla and Braydon opened the doors of their new pub venture a few days ago, only to have floodwater go through yesterday and cause extensive damage.

Unfortunately flood insurance was not available to them due to the pub's location.
