A boost for First Home Buyers announced yesterday. The Government will Guarantee 10,000 loans from next January for properties purchased in Melb & G-Troit.
First in best dressed, with 5% deposit required and no dreaded Mortgage Insurance if you are one of the lucky ones.

The Federal Government reveals details of its scheme to help up to 10,000 first home buyers on low and middle incomes enter the housing market each year, with a deposit as little as 5 per cent.

Pounds, Dollars they're all the same.
As you would most likely be aware, the RBA have hit unprecedented territory in reducing Rates to lowest levels on record.
Leading Variable Interest Rates as of the end of month will be 3.18%. If your bank has not passed on rate cuts in full over the past month then it is worth pursuing other options.
This cash is best kept in your pocket and not theirs!

As you would be aware, the Royal Commission released it's findings into the Banking & Financial services sector this week.
This paper was designed to highlight misconduct at the hands of major banks and promote fair competition for consumer choice.
It seemingly has ill-directed it's focus from the offending banks and their practices and aimed to decimate the Mortgage Broking Industry.
If all recommendations slated within the Royal Commission are put to legislation, the Big 4 banks will assume total control.
This will reduce competition, increase their profits and create a marketplace where consumers have limited options to achieve best suited loan packages and Interest Rates.
And I'd be coming to you looking for a new gig!
