Friday arvo with a group of small biz owners and a Mad Monkey 🐒

Algal bloom, mystery of how it came here and certainly some mixed stories on its impacts.

1 very satisfied customer, good to see the Algal Bloom hasnt wiped us out completly.

Fish are bitting hard atm on our offshore charters.
The fish are in very good health and condition, its safe to say they will taste prety good on Daves plate served up with a side of salad and chips.

Who doesn't like a pretty picture?

Yeah, its a boring finance graph however this one should bring a smile to the Reserve Bank & a rate cut next month 😀

This timing will probably nudge the Spring property market along, if you're waiting for the "drop in the market" to purchase that property then you maybe disappointed 😞

Yep, its that time of year where its cold & dreary and people are sorting out their Tax paperwork ☺️

It could be a simple E-Tax situation with hopefully a refund coming your way?

Or it might have an investment property and some other deductions on the cards?

Or maybe, like several small business clients I see and talk too, there is more complexity involved 🤔

This complexity is different for everyone, however common theme is the management of tax debt.
Whether that is keeping up with quarterly BAS payments, Super payments for employees, Profit for a business or like some - only doing tax stuff for last 2-4 years now!!

The above may result in $20,000, $50,000, $150,000 or more owed to the ATO - scary numbers.

Especially when the Tax Payment plan is normally done over 12 to 18 months - you can do the maths 😢

Plus the interest rate starts in the 11%, more than a bank...

There are options to alleviate these large numbers, just have to reach out for a chat.

If you get a Demand letter from ATO, then moving faster is VIP!!
