Some might call it semi-retirement. But Peter ‘Chicken’ McVeigh prefers to call it a ‘long gap year.’ He certainly deserves a chance to take a break. He’s been a driving force behind Elston’s success over many years. He’s both kept us sane, and driven us nuts with his Dad jokes. And he’s just been loved and respected by everyone. His team. His clients. His buddies and partners from the GC to Jondaryan and beyond. Thank you for everything Peter. You will be missed.

BFF (aka Better Future Fund) is Elston’s workplace giving program. Through this charitable subfund we’ve been able to give to a number of worthwhile causes. Recently we gave to the Gidget Foundation Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that’s dedicated to supporting the mental health of expectant, new and potential parents.

Thank you to all the Elston employees who have donated to the BFF, and thank you to Elston clients and professional partners who have also contributed. We really appreciate your support.

Lots of love in the Elston office today. Eloise, Sam and Julie urged us to spread the love, and everyone responded with chocolates, coffees and all sorts of 'Galentine' gifts and random acts of bromance. The cute handmade gifts from 1000 Hearts also inspired us all to take that compassion and understanding beyond the office too. What an amazing global kindness initiative that is.
