There has been a lot of negative sentiment in the market with it comes to borrowing these days.

Inflation, wage stagnation, weak leadership and profit hungry corporations are to be blamed for it to a decent extent.

We as consumers are not only dealing with worst possible decline in customer satisfaction but highly arrogant and irresponsible etiquettes at the hands of inexperienced and under valued staff.

In this highly competitive and shrinking market, it is our duty to report poor business practices. Customers or clients too have lot to blame when it comes to breaking trust of long term relationships.

Businesses as a whole are down 20% and further reduction in revenue is not an illusion. Support the people on social media who bring actual facts in front of you. Social media as we know is not an independent platform.

If you are first time effected -

Call your insurance company immediately. There will be an access to be paid.

Check your insurance policy against the damage to the property or contents.

There is nothing to be stressed about, insurance is helpful in helping you with the damages above your access.

Don't be shy, pick the phone and get going. Be patient as claims can be slow to process due to huge amount of damage across the state.

Technology was supposed to make life easy but as the saying goes "too much of everything is bad". This certainly is coming true in case of AI where scammers are using face visuals and voice copies to create a sophisticated scam.

Social media and governments are not doing enough as the evolution of AI is outpacing the red tape.

Be very careful while shopping on social media platforms.
Do not click on text messages- even if they are sent my your own bank.
Do not give information about your finances to anyone- ANYONE

Do not rely on Banks or Government to help you out once scammed. It is an emotional, physiological and financial nightmare.

Renting is easy. Without a doubt.

NO ONE said buying a home and paying it off was going to be easy. If someone said that well- YOU ARE SCAMMED.

Average rent in Queensland ATM is $600/week. On top of it you might be paying water bill, may be another $30/week on top.

Now you own a home with 90% deposit. Lets saw you bought the home for $700,000 in last 2 years property Market.

Paid 12% deposit and now you have $630,000 loan. Repayment is around $871/week. Then water, sewage, council rates, improvements etc cost around $300/week on an average.
That's around $1171/week-$571/week more than renting.

While renting, all you have to do is call the property agent and get things fixed, but in your own home, you need to empty your own pocket.

BUT, in last 2 years people have made close to $200,000 in equity JLT. Property is a single most popular personal and business investment in Australia due to favourable Economic, Political and Financial conditions.

So, buying is not all bad but it has be done right with the right mindset.

According to CreditorWatch's November Business Risk Index Syndey is most effected, specially Sydney West suburbs like Merrylands, Guildford followed by Canterbury and Bankstown.

South East Queensland suburbs like Ormeau, Oxenford and Southport are 4 and 5th followed by Sydney again.

Population in these areas is relatively young with very tight pockets.

Big 4 banks (Majors) have lost the shine in last few years. Weather its scams, job loses or cash policies.
2nd Tier banks have stepped in to fill the gap. Macquarie Bank for example in recent years have written more loans than ANZ.

Even though big 4 provide superior apps and transaction tracking they have lost business to 2nd Tiers. 2nd Tiers are still offering below 6% on limited products.

Please do not confuse online banks with 2nd Tier banks. There are major differences. Talk to your Broker and find out how they can help you navigate your finances and if possible bring down the interest paid on your Home Loan.
