A very sad day for the AFL and for Australia with the passing of Neale Daniher AO.

An AFL legend, Australian of the Year, and an inspiration to so many, Neale showed extraordinary courage, resilience and heart in his fight against MND.

His impact went far beyond football, bringing Australians together through hope, compassion and determination.

Our thoughts are with the Daniher family and everyone across the AFL and wider Australian community feeling this loss.
