well beyond those directly employed as teachers. We are open to a huge range of education-related professions, including academics, admin and support staff who are also union members. In fact, we are open to all Australian union members and their families. We pay more so you pay less by keeping the lid on premium costs and delivering generous benefits when you claim. If you’re transferring from another health fund on a comparable level of cover, and have already served the waiting periods, we’ll waive those waiting periods when you join TUH so you can claim straight away.
