With as little as a 2% deposit, eligible buyers may be able to purchase a home with government support, reducing the amount they need to borrow and potentially avoiding LMI.

The Australian Government can contribute up to 30% for existing homes or 40% for new homes under the shared equity scheme.

We’re getting behind Bridget’s husband, Robbie, as he takes on an incredible challenge for an even more worthy cause.

This October, Robbie is taking on the Garden City Backyard Ultra to raise funds for The Younger Heroes, supporting current and ex-serving Defence Force families.

For those who haven’t heard of a Backyard Ultra, Robbie will run a 6.7km loop every hour, on the hour, and keep going for as long as his body and mind will allow. There’s no set finish line. The challenge simply continues until he can’t complete another lap.

It’s a huge physical and mental challenge, but the reason behind it is even bigger.
