Hiring people based on their "attitude" is smart thinking. Trying to determine a candidates attitude however is tough, but the good news is, there's another word for attitude that is easier to learn and understand.

EQ or Emotional Intelligence is a topic related to understanding people and the more you understand people, the more successful you will tend to be in owning a business. It can make a HUGE difference to hire people only if they have a good or great attitude, or higher EQ.

In this video I'm talking to with Chris Schutte where we explore the topic of EQ and what that has to do with anything and especially business.

An EQ assessment is a great tool of "discernment" which simply means being able to read people.
