A little about your host for the upcoming Money Wise Seminar...

Scott Quinlan is the Principal and Financial Adviser at Solace Financial, the firm he co-founded in 2013. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with a Master of Financial Planning, Scott has guided thousands of clients since beginning his career in 2004. In 2025 he was named AWMA Adviser of the Year (High Net Worth), with further finalist recognition for Aged Care, Innovation, and more recently as a 2026 FAAA CFP Professional of the Year finalist.

Known for making complex money matters clear and manageable, Scott specialises in retirement, aged care and investments; the last of which doubles as his genuine passion. Above all, Scott genuinely cares about helping people feel more confident with their money; this seminar is his way of sharing that with the community.

Should I be doing anything differently with my investments?

Market headlines can make anyone second-guess an otherwise sound plan. It also doesn't mean you ignore them.

But more often than not, the answer isn't a knee-jerk change of course. Maybe it's just a review of your plan. A health check, if you will.

So if you've been thinking about your own approach lately, it might simply be a good moment to revisit the plan - not rewrite it.

What a week to cap off.

Being named a finalist in the FAAA awards was a genuine honour, but more than anything, it made us pause and reflect on why we do this in the first place.

For us, it always comes back to one thing: client first. In this video, one of our founders Stephen Horton shares how Solace Financial began and why putting clients at the centre has been a true reflection of who we are from day one.
