I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Finance with a major in Financial Services and Funds Management and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (RG146 Compliant). Since mid 2009 I have managed my own leveraged six figure equity portfolio in Australian Companies. I am a contrarian risk adverse investor who has a long term time horizon. I aim to beat the ASX200 benchmark and invest primarily in the materials, energy and financials sector.

I will be away on business in Bangkok, Thailand, from the 27th Apr to the 2nd May, and will not be using fb in this time - I have current stock orders in for AKM and LYC atm incase the market drops a bit so I can buy them at good prices. PM me to find out what prices I think are reasonable.

The US dollar has appreciated against the Aussie Dollar as china's government demands banks increase their assests to slow down the economy = less need for aussie dollars

LYC dropped alot today so did AGO.. I have a buy order in for LYC at 2.10, no buy order in for more AGO but im thinking anything below $3.30 is good. Also keeping an eye on Telstra TLS - becuase of the high div yield
