Financial year '24 is over, a massive shout out to our team for navigating a huge amount of end of financial year work through May and June.

We've moved mountains in the last 12 months and occasionally it's worth stepping back and reflecting on some of the wins:
- 17% revenue growth;
- 32 new happy clients onboard;
- the team grew to 9; and
- a revolutionary new way of delivering advice to clients.

That's a lot of ticks in the wins column. Bring on FY2025, we are going to crush it.

We always like to ask our clients about their hobbies and interests as it gives insight into the way each person lives their life. Often we find the men provide a long....long list of hobbies and interests, while many of the woman struggle with an answer, sometimes the response is something along the lines of "raising our children" has been my hobby.

Only a few weeks ago we had a new client say she felt a bit lost now the children have grown up, and we suggested she make a list of potential hobbies she could take up, regardless of how 'out there' they may be or crazy they may sound. So i was interested to read this great article on ABC news this morning about the importance of hobbies in providing a sense of joy, purpose and connection. If you have 5 minutes it's worth reading:

Hobbies aren't just activities to pass the time. They can boost your mental health and sense of purpose. These experts say it's time to take them more seriously.
