Searching for lost funds....and you!
I use my time to search for your money through the multiple services who currently have it held for you, waiting to be claimed. However, that is generally the easy part. Once I have found your money, I have to find you. This can be very time consuming as quite often the reason this money is unclaimed is that the owner (you) has changed their details and therefore the initial holder (bank, company, etc...) has been unable to contact you.
This is when you money is placed with another service to hold until you claim it. This can be tricky if you don't know about either the money, or where it is.

This is where I come in.
I will do everything I can to find you money and bring it back to you.

What do you need to do?
Congratulations, you have made the decision to claim your lost funds...what do you need to do now?
Before we can claim your funds, we need to sort the legal stuff out. This will protect both you and myself, whilst also giving peace of mind.
After I have made initial contact with you, I will send you a letter in the mail with details of the amount of money waiting for you to claim. This letter will also contain a form for you to sign that gives me permission to claim this money on your behalf. I will also need a certified copy of ID (Birth certificate, drivers license, passport, etc..) to show you are the true owner of the money, as well as some form of evidence that the money was in fact yours, or that you are legally entitled to claim it. This section will depend on the type of money you are claiming, however I will be able to assist you in working this out.
Once you have returned these forms to me, I will submit your claim for the money to the service holding it. The time frame to have the money returned to you can be approximately 3-4 weeks depending on the service who has the money.
Once they have accepted your claim, they will send me your cheque of the refunded amount which I will then forward to you through registered post with my invoice to be paid within 7 days. There are NO upfront fee's. You only pay me once your money has been refunded. If your claim isn't processed, there in no fee.
I will be available to you to answer any questions and I will keep you updated about the process along the way.

What are lost funds?
Lost funds are generally known as lost super, however there is so much more than that!
Forgotten bank accounts, shares, unclaimed life insurance policies, deceased estates, business takeovers, trust accounts, unclaimed lottery winnings, and over-paid bills/debts, are also a massive part of the lost funds waiting to be claimed.
Why is it unclaimed?
Quite often the service provider who initially held the account would have been unable to contact the owner of the money. This could be because their contact details have changed, or in the case of deceased accounts, they may not know who the money belongs too. It largely depends on the type of money being held.
However, it can still be claimed.
