What a night celebrating Bendigo business! 🥂💃

On Thursday night I had the pleasure of attending the Be.Bendigo Bendigo Business Excellence Awards as a guest of the wonderful Gayle Wilson .

This year, we decided not to go through the awards process ourselves.
And you know what? It was actually SO nice to go along purely as a cheerleader for our local business community. 💚

I absolutely love small business and everything that goes with it — the hard work, the risks, the long days, the great people and the determination it takes to keep showing up.

It was fantastic to see such a mix of big and small Bendigo businesses recognised as finalists this year, and I was especially proud to see quite a few people and businesses we know and support amongst them.

A special congratulations to:
👏 Michael and Sheryl from Gecko I.T. Solutions — who look after the IT for Proactive Finance Group and are absolutely fabulous at what they do and very deserving of their win.
👏 Josie and Cam from Grit2Gains — a brilliant small business operator and so deserving of their category win.
👏 Tim Leahy from Enhance Podiatry and Wellness — I’ve watched Tim grow his business over the years, and it’s been fantastic to see that hard work and growth recognised.
👏 Sarah Gee from Curium Legal — another wonderful local business person we’re proud to support, and it was so good to see her take home a win this year!
