Congratulations to Shasta Maher, our Round 3 High St Xray Player of the Week!

A valued member of the Bendigo Women's Football Club since 2018, Shasta continues to make her mark both on and off the field. Alongside her consistent on-field performances, she has recently taken on the important role of Assistant Coach with the Thunder.

In Sunday’s win over Marong, Shasta led from the front, finishing with two goals in a standout display of leadership and impact.

What a year it’s been!

▻ We kicked off with moving into our new office and welcoming our clients into the fresh new space.

▻ As sponsors of the McKean McGregor Gala Ball, we enjoyed another year in attendance, contributing to its impactful mission of raising funds for the Bendigo Health Cancer Centre.

▻ Motivated by her mum’s personal journey, Taylah bravely said goodbye to her long locks to raise funds and awareness for the Bendigo Health Cancer Centre and its programs.

▻ Tim and Darren visited New Zealand to attend an Investment Leaders Forum, gaining valuable insights and connections.

▻ You may have spotted us trackside at the Bendigo Cup. This is always a fantastic day out with our team and clients!

▻ We attended the Peri2Meno event as sponsors, bringing women together for a beautiful luncheon and important conversations. All funds raised were donated to Courage & Crowns - Megan Simpson and her important work empowering young people.

▻ There were personal celebrations too, as Ashlee tied the knot in November - Congratulations to Ashlee and Brenton on their special day!

▻ We also entered a team into the McKean McGregor Ladies Golf Day. Proceeds from this fun day out went to Sunshine Bendigo, an outstanding local initiative.

Buzz off Cancer is a fundraiser that is close to us here at Fortem.

Taylah has worked at Fortem for 6 years, she is a ripper and we love her. Read her family’s story below.

When Taylah’s mum, Penny, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in May this year, it was a big shock for the family. Penny is now undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Bendigo Health, and Taylah wanted to find a special way to show her support.

On Sunday, 14 September, Taylah will be shaving her hair in solidarity with her mum. She’s turning the moment into a celebration of love and community, hosting an afternoon tea where friends, family, and supporters can come together.

All funds raised on the day will go towards the Cancer Wellness Centre at Bendigo Health, which provides care and support for people facing cancer and their families.

We would love to see as many donations as possible ❤️.
