A big thank you and appreciation to Zoe & Mitchell, who recently represented One + One and had the privilege of presenting Ben with his jersey for NBL27.
We can’t thank Ben & Tasmania JackJumpers enough for looking after Zoe & Mitch on the night — including the fantastic round of applause from the room as they headed to the stage. 👏
We also think it’s fair to say, judging by some photos from an event earlier in the year, that Mitch might have finally passed Ben in the height stakes! 😊
We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with Ben and the JJ’s throughout the NBL27 season, and we’re sure our clients will enjoy the experience along the way.
Go JJ’s! 🏀

Whilst it was a few weeks back now, the annual “Let’s Be There” event was a fantastic and important reminder of something we should never take for granted.

Everyone faces challenges, many of which sit beneath the surface, particularly when it comes to mental health. Events like this help create awareness, encourage conversations and, most importantly, remind people that they don’t have to face things alone.

Hearing guest speaker Luke Bateman share his journey through elite sport, addiction, injury, recovery, identity and the challenges he faces today was both powerful and thought-provoking. His story highlighted just how much can be going on beneath the surface, even when things may not appear that way from the outside.

It was a great reminder to check in with the people around us — and, equally importantly, to check in with ourselves.

If you have not listened to or aware of Luke's journey, look up his recent appearance on Australian Story!

A moment worth reflecting on and celebrating.
We were incredibly honoured to be named a finalist in the MFAA 2026 VIC/TAS State Excellence Awards for Diversified Business.
While we didn’t take home the award, it was a privilege to be recognised alongside such outstanding finalists within our industry. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, we are unable to attend today’s national conference and awards ceremony, but we wish all state winners the very best and congratulate our VIC/TAS state winner, Entourage, as they represent our region on the national stage.
As a boutique family business, we are incredibly proud to once again be recognised in these prestigious awards. Ten years after winning this category, we were hoping the stars might align again, however being named a finalist is an achievement we are truly grateful for.
A sincere thank you to our amazing clients for their ongoing trust and support, and to our industry partners AFG (Australian Finance Group) and Centrepoint Alliance for their continued partnership.
At One Plus One, our clients’ experience and providing holistic, trusted advice will always remain at the heart of what we do.

One Plus One are proud sponsors and love supporting the next generation of local talent both on and off the field! 🏉

Director Teresa recently caught up with brothers Oli & Bailey from the Clarence Football Club. It’s fantastic to see siblings sharing their passion for footy, supporting each other and representing their club with pride.

We’re proud to back young local talent and the strong community spirit that brings families and clubs together.
